Editorial policies
Open Access
- Articles published in the “Archives de l’Institut Pasteur de Tunis“are Diamond Open Access, a model with no article processing charge (APCs) for authors and free access for readers.
- All articles are distributed under the the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) Licence, wich allows anyone to access, share, and, depending on the licence terms, re-use the content in new or derivative works with proper attribution. The specific terms of re-use for Diamond Open Access content are stated in the copyright line of the article.
Copyright and Licensing
The Archives de l’Institut Pasteur de Tunis follows a non-exclusive publication policy. Authors retain full copyright and intellectual property rights over their work.
Right of First Publication
By submitting and publishing an article in the journal, authors grant the Archives de l’Institut Pasteur de Tunis the exclusive right of first publication. The journal may disseminate the article in all formats (print, digital, online), on any medium, without time or territorial limitations.
Distribution License
Unless otherwise spicified, all published content is made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows anyone to copy, distribute, display, and adapt the content, provided that proper credit is given to the author, the original source is cited, and a link to the published article is included.
Self-Archiving and Open Access
As part of its commitment to open science, the journal strongly encourages authors to archive the final version of their article (including the official layout) on institutional or thematic repositories, or on their personal websites, without any embargo period. All reposted versions must include the full citation of the article and a link to its official version in the journal.
Respect for Third-Party Rights
Authors are responsible for obtaining all necessary written permissions, prior to submission, for the use of any content protected by third-party rights (images, tables, figures, excerpts from other publications). These permissions must be provided to the journal, and all sources and credits must be clearly indicated in the manuscript.
